Why won’t my coffee grinder start?

Ensure the grinder is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
If the appliance overheated, unplug it and let it cool for 10 minutes before restarting.

The grinder runs but doesn’t grind beans. What should I do?

Check if the grinding disc is damaged (contact [Customer Service] for replacements).
Clean the grinding disc to remove stuck coffee residue.
Use dry coffee beans—damp beans can clog the mechanism.

My grinder stopped working mid-use. How do I fix it?

The grinding disc may be clogged. Turn off and unplug the machine, then disassemble and clean the disc according to the manual.

Why is the indicator light flashing/alarming?

Reason 1: The bean hopper isn’t properly attached. Reseat it and tighten the screw.
Reason 2: Overheating from continuous use (beyond 3 minutes). Let it cool for 10 minutes before resuming.

A long Odyssey

I was looking for a second,inexpensive coffee grinder to pair with a DeLonghi Dedica 685 to "let my wife play".I already own a solid Eureka Specialità for over 4 years with another coffee machine.I had studied this coffee grinder in every detail and watched every Hibrew video,including maintenance.When the grinder was delivered from their European warehouse in Germany,I immediately noticed that it was missing a spacer(also reported in their videos),without which it obviously cannot grind finely for espresso(it could also be built,but of what thickness?To avoid damaging the appliance...).After about 2 months and repeated contacts with customer service,I finally managed to get this blessed spacer from the parent company in China .. What can I say now:the appliance does its grinding job very well,almost no retention and the electronics seem to work great,it is a little light in weight and has a click that moves it slightly on the surface only when grinding starts.The filter holder arm(not naked, so it has spouts) from 58 to 51mm is positioned too low and touches the base,almost forcing you to use a glass.For my experience,customer service in Europe is poor,but that doesn't mean the products aren't good.

Great design and very good touchscreen

Amazing design. It has 48 grind setting which allow usage with multiple coffee types. The touchscreen is very reactive - it never failed.
The coffee container is big so you can make multiple grinding per time - very convenient for bigger families.
