Great choice! Very convenient coffee machine. There was a small issue with it, but support was quick to respond and offered a resolution. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends.

My H4C worked perfect until last week. But today it didn't brew coffee anymore. Apparently the pump was malfunctioning. I contacted the helpline and they replied quickly with an adequate solution. Now I can again enjoy my coffee. Thank You

I appreciate a lot that the machine is using replaceable batteries that are available off the shelf. The machine seems to be sturdy, and use high quality components. It seems to have everything that is necessary to brew top quality espresso. I still haven’t mastered the technique to do so, I’m learning. It’s not a machine for someone that wants to do back to back espresso shots, that requires another machine. It’s great for me that appreciates a portable machine, top quality espresso, and learn the espresso making ritual :)

Great product. My only complaint is that it doesn't display the current water temperature in advance—you need to push the heating button to see it.

Very happy with the machine. Customer service is responsive even after a few weeks after ordering and invested in making things right.

The batteries that were defective were replaced entirely at Hibrew's expense. By the way, this is already the fourth H4C device that I have bought, either for myself or for a friend. I could say I am an expert for espresso machines and espresso coffee preparation technology, and I can say that the coffee from this machine is incomparably better than all others prepared in similar machines and very comparable to coffee obtained from semi-professional machines. It is probably due to the accuracy of temperature without variation and constant pressure. The 51mm Bottomless Adapter Kit is also worth ordering.

Start off by saying that I love the 4HC Ultra, very impressive for the cost and it makes amazing coffee considering what it is and price point. However customer service from Hebrew is non existant. It took about 15 business days after ordering just to dispatch the product with no communication in between to explain the delay or what’s happening. Emailed several different email contacts from the website with 0 response. Was very close to putting a fraud claim in with my CC but finally almost a month later they shipped it. If you have a warranty issue with the unit I wouldn’t even bother. Assume you’re buying a disposable product and once it breaks toss it in the trash. This company will not help you with anything based on my experience so far.

The batteries were defective (did not charge, I had to use spare ones I have home) and there was no NS/DG adapter as shown on page: I contacted the customer support and they were very kind and sent me replacement batteries + NS/DG adapter which shouldn't be included indeed but as a gift for the misleading (now correct) product page. High quality products, very recommended!

General impression - very well built and high quality of the materials used.
Pros:
- it makes impressive espresso. Tried 3 different capsules and also powder and had excellent result each time. Much better than small coffee machines we have in our office. I am really impressed!
- you can mantain water temp (up to 95 degr.) and brewing time, which is very useful and makes coffee preparation much funnier.
- not heavy, came with nice and practical case. You can bring it with you anywhere
- batteries are replaceable and can be charged with external charger. Very useful, if you need more than 3-4 cups of coffee and must boil cold water. Just need to buy a 2-nd set of batteries
- tank is up to 100 ml of water. Which is more than most of the rivals (normally 60-70 ml tank)
- very easy to use
- very easy to clean
- came with nice and solid metal stand
Cons:
- batteries last for only 3-4 cups of approx. 60-70 ml, if you have to boil cold water. But this is more or less equal to the rivals, so not quite cons., just have in mind.
- too long time to boil water - for 70-80 ml it takes over 8 minutes to have a coffee. Again - not so worse, compared to rivals. It is portable machine and is normal

4 stars because of site inaccuracy - I was misleaded that the parcel will be send from a warehouse in Europe. In fact it was sent from China. I had to pay + 20% VAT respectively, which was not the deal. On the other hand, very fast delivery.

This is the best of the portable electric coffee makers. Special thanks for the replaceable battery option. It makes life a lot easier. My main method of using the H4C is to heat water in a kettle. Fill the H4C boiler. And then turn on the heating mode to 95 degrees to compensate for heat loss. The coffee turns out great.

Compact simple and good taste of cofee, so i have cups of coffe wherever i want but litle bit pricy

This is an incredible product to make great coffee anywhere. When I travel I usually don't have espresso making equipment like the setting I have at home and this is a perfect solution for high quality coffee anywhere I go. It also drags a lot of attention and people asking to try some, so keep this in mind.
If you use coffee beans, you'll need some attempts before you master grams and grind size. The machine is also forgiving as the classic version has a pressurized basket.
If you use nespresso or dolce gusto capsules, it also works very well.

Overall I'm really happy about this device, it's convenient, easy to carry around and works well. I would probably upgrade one day to the explorer or barista version, more suitable for coffee lovers that are interested in pulling great shots with non pressurized portafilters and high quality coffee.

3 weeks using the 51mm bottomless filter and also purchased the NS/DG adapter with base. Seamless switching between the 2 base. NS adapter good to use with capsule, fast and good extraction everytime. Great portability with NS adapter base when I'm out and about and at home using the Bottomless filter for refined coffee extraction. Bottomless filter use with speciality coffee gives excellent results. Good quality machine. Well built and replaceable batteries is wonderful bonus. Fully recommend.

The coffee maker looks good and works perfectly. I hope it will be my companion for a long time without any problems.

This machine has exceeded my expectations. I wanted to buy earlier either outin nano or wacaco picopressonvs, but thankfully I didnot. I ended up buying the barista ultra version. It produces real espresso identical to any other full size professional machine. I totally recommend buying this. You get better price, better quality.

I’ve tried multiple portable coffee machines, and the H4C is by far the best. It makes excellent coffee, and you can use multiple sets of batteries to enjoy coffee all day long.
